those who know me know that there was a long stretch of time in my life where i wore nothing but bright acid green hair. these days i’ve calmed down a bit with more natural tones but i still love to rock my crazy hair colours once in a while.

gogo issued a challenge.. and i could not help but accept it.

What is Bubblegum Weekends?

What:

This challenge encourages YOU to wear unnatural hair colors (Pink, Blue, Green, Purple, etc.)

When:

Every weekend! Saturday and Sunday. If you want to do it on Friday, that’s cool too

with st. patrick’s day coming up, i decided to cobble together something cute and green. this dress from grixdale is a special item for Chic limited, so make sure you go grab that before its gone because its super cute and the detail is just amazing.

my hair is from the awesome green sale going on at the atomic sims from 3-13 to 3-19. grixdale, ploom, and atomic are all knocking down green items to 50%

oh yes and i am not sure if i will be keeping this shadow format for blogging because it was super hell trying to get just these two photos (i take big photos, 2.0 doesn’t like that it seems) but i am proud of how these came out so there’s a chance i will keep doing them this way

Valentine’s Doll

so first of all there is this adorable skin at dilly doll’s that is only 20L and only there until midnight tonight so you should go and pick it up before its too late!

it comes in all the tones dilly dolls provides, i’m wearing it here in “marshmellow”

and since i busted out my doll shape to tell you about the awesome skin, i figured what better way to celebrate valentine’s day than a frilly doll dress featuring a stupid cupid well dilly dolls has that too!

the oops cupid! dress comes in an array of colours but of course for those who are afraid of colour, there is also grey. the little mural across the front of the dress is super cute, and a little evil, just in time for valentine’s day.

and what valentine’s day post would be complete without a little lingerie?

this adorable set from somnia also comes in a lot of colours, do not be fooled by my failure to wear things other than black, and grey!

Dilly Dolls Lillie Skins

I’m back with more Dilly Dolls stuff! Oriana has just dropped a couple of her new skins on me as a preview to the Lillie skin line.

these skins are perfect for doll style avatars, which is why i decided to wear my doll shape with them the bodies are very soft and hand painted and the face is absolutely adorable. i am wearing these in the “marshmellow” skintone but they come in a nice variety of tones to choose from.

the two skins out for the holiday season are “frosty” and “santa’s lil helper”

i am definitely looking forward to seeing the rest of this skinline when it comes out!

New Dilly Dolls Shoes!

i am a shoe fiend. i can’t afford to be one in real life so i am a bit of a shoe collector in second life. i’m always on the look out for more shoes to suit my ever changing fashion mood, and what better place to get cute shoes for when i feel like dolling it up, than at dilly dolls!

these are the new Daria Boots and Carlotta Oxfords. both have colour change/resize huds, with several different colour options to choose from. the daria boots have MANY different configurations. the ability to colour every part of the shoe. the carlotta oxfords have 3 different styles, dark, medium, and light, with 8 colour choices each.

definitely worth checking out. head over to dilly dolls now and grab a pair for yourself!

so last time i blogged about my favourite prim eyes. this time i’ll be blogging about my favourite non-prim eyes.

before we get into the crazy eyes i’ll start with the eyes i wear when i want to be normal (as if i can be normal :p). exodi makes these really beautiful eyes that sparkle and have a realistic feel to them. i love that the iris looks kinda like glitter and the shine on the eyes make them look wet like real eyes.

these are my staple eyes. i usually prefer to wear red eyes but of all the red eyes i have, these are my favourite. unfortunately i have not been able to find this store inworld for some time. these eyes have a really pretty glassy effect that remind me slightly of a doll’s eyes.

i got these eyes in a big fatpack at frick a while back. i’m not sure if they are still up for sale but if they are go get them because the price is great and you get a bunch of really cool eyes. i’m always on the look out for eyes with black sclera and weird irises and these fit both of those!

this last pair of eyes was specially made for me by nara tairov. she sent me the yellow ones that she made for 50L fridays and i asked for green and so i got green nara is working on animal eyes and so far she has made some really amazing ones! this is the only pair of goat/sheep eyes i have ever seen in my entire 3 almost 4 years of second life. bug her and tell her you want them for sale!
