omg shoes!

the shoe fair has started and my favourite shoe designer has come up with some great new styles! you can only get these at the shoe fair for now, so do make sure you rush over there!

the Cura Pumps come in three shades (dark, medium, and light) and have A LOT of colour combination choices in the hud. you can change the whole shoe, or separately colour the shoe, straps, soles and heels!

The May Dollies come in 3 heel styles (chunks shown above, stilettos, and wedges) and also offer some great colour choices. all of the shoes are black and colour striped, with a separate colour option for the bow.

these may be my new favourite flats! the laurell flats also have 3 shades to choose from (light, medium, and dark), and the hud allows you to either recolour the whole shoe, or change shoe colour, straps colour, buckle colour, and ruffles colour! the possibilities are endless O_O

oh but i’m saving the best for last…

there is a definite chance that i may never take these skates off again XD how awesome are these shoes!

these are the amie dolly skates and they kick ass. the hud for these allows you control of the shoe, as well as the bows, stopper, and individual wheels.

dilly dolls decided to torture me with some prim clothing this past week. they are both really well designed but take a bit of effort to photograph them :p

the oola corset comes in two variations but i only managed to fit one before i gave up lol its not that these are not amazing corsets (because they are) i’m just not very good at fitting prim clothing XD as usual with all of dilly dolls’ items, the corset has many different colour choices to choose from, and you can even colour the laces a different colour than the body of the corset (but no picture of that because honestly i didn’t do a very good job at fitting this thing…)  it comes with an alpha layer to make sure you have the perfect shape on your sides and front. if only real life corsets could do that…

after all that corset modding it was kinda appropriate that the other item i got was a straight jacket! this was a bit easier to deal with, the alpha layer for this one thankfully nukes the entire arm area, so no poke though!

while i am still struggling to make my prim clothing actually fit, i’m sure there are many of you who are already aces at it. so do make sure you check out these items at dilly dolls! she says there’s more on the way *faints*

i’m also wearing the last release from tiny bird which is closing very soon :( tiny bird is one of my favourite hair places so i’m a bit crushed by this.. however they are having a sale and this specific hair is part of the seasons hunt so you can get it free!

i got two really beautiful gowns this week and i couldn’t wait to show them off!

the black filigree gown from wretched dollies has two styles included, a short dolly dress, and a long gown. there was also a shrug but i forgot to put it on for the gown shot (don’t kill me!)  there are also matches shoes for this dress! and this beautiful jewelry set which works very well with the outfit:

to contrast all this black, the second gown i have to show off is a bright red number from dilly dolls…

when i put this dress on i automatically thought of the red queen from alice in wonderland! amaranth III comes in several different bright shades and a grey as well! great for the spring season. and yes so much colour i had to wear a grey skin to compensate :p

yesterday i wanted to take a picture of myself as a doll for my 365 photo (which you can see on my flickr) and the outfit was so cute i decided to show it here! the only problem with this outfit is that a lot of the items in it are not available or i am not sure if they are available anymore. so don’t kill me :p

one thing that IS available in this outfit, the lovely stella dollies shoes from dilly dolls! these might possibly be my favourite of all the shoes i’ve had the pleasure of blogging so far, and i was definitely in need of new dolly shoes!

as with all dilly dolls shoes, these come in an array of options. right now i am wearing “stella dollies II dark pack” which has sculpted socks attached to it. these do come without socks as well if you don’t like those or want to wear your own specific socks. there are 3 colour packs for these shoes, dark, medium, and light, and they have several colours to choose from in their individual huds. with the version i am wearing you can change the colour of both the sock, and the shoe!

today i was given the opportunity to check out Neferia Abel’s new L`Abel line! there was a bunch of really lovely designs out for us to pick from and blog, and i picked my faves of the bunch to show off here.

two things i love in sl, sequins, and jackets with this sort of detail on them. ever since 2007 when lucas and i started dating, we used to always find anything with this military style/band uniform type jacket.. and we’d buy them always! i still do it to this very day, so i HAD to have this. it comes in several colours but of course, i chose black :p the pants have ruffle colour choices as well.

look out! i’m wearing colour! this did actually come in black but i decided to shock everyone and wear green instead :p yes i’m still fighting with my fear of colours but with outfits this nice its not hard to wear them :D

since you can’t see my nails very well, here’s a close up! i got these at love soul during a sale they had last week. they are so cute! i’m not sure if the sale is going on anymore but these are definitely something to grab. they have great nails and they are scripted to stay put so your hands don’t move and mess them up!

L`Abel does not open until the 29th of this month, so i am not sharing a landmark to the shop just yet, but be sure to check them out when they do open!

these are the new Daria Boots and Carlotta Oxfords. both have colour change/resize huds, with several different colour options to choose from. the daria boots have MANY different configurations. the ability to colour every part of the shoe. the carlotta oxfords have 3 different styles, dark, medium, and light, with 8 colour choices each.

i’ve been in second life 4 years, and in that time, no one had ever named anything after me (that i am aware of), so i was very very very very very VERY flattered when hybie mynx of savoir faire shapes named one of her newest shapes “Nimil”.

this shape is gorgeous, and is actually very close to my regular self created shape which is pretty remarkable! all hybie’s shapes come with a large breasted version and a skirt version (yay dress butt!) and they are gorgeous.

i don’t really buy shapes, because i’m partial to my own, but if i ever needed one, savoir faire is definitely at the top of my list to get it.
