this is a new segment i’m going to do when i’m bored, of just… what i’m wearing today. for those who enjoy talking about items, this is probably not going to be your fave segment on the blog, BUT i come up with such fun looks and never have anything to say about them except.. i was bored, here’s how i look today, so… enter the style file. these looks may contain items no longer for sale.. please do not bite off my head.

i got these amazing boots from dilly dolls and i may have gone a little crazy trying to match my outfit to them. THE PASTELS! i need more colour in my inventory.

these boots make me want ice cream and cake…  definitely not helping my rl pregnant lady cravings! these boots are currently available at the motif* event, and i am not sure if they will be available after that, so do make sure you go and snatch these up! they are mesh, and no mod, but via a hud you can customize the colours to your liking, and even add or remove the sprinkles!

i don’t like to toot my own horn much but i do want to let you guys know that the Wear Gray for a Day marketplace has opened and i happen to have a few items up for sale with 100% of the proceeds going to charity. i made some awesome makeup and some awesome eyes!

squid-head

swimming in random oceans in second life can be dangerous, i seem to have picked up a hitchhiker!

this awesome squiddy head attachment is Weather! or not?’s awesome offering for the 2012 crazy hair hunt. i think this might be one of my favourite items made out of mesh. the detail on this guy is stunning and he makes quite a statement! that “hey! i’ve got an octopus on my head!” kind of statementsquid-neck

if you like the octopus but don’t want to wear him on your head, you can check out the current zombie popcorn brand for this awesome “octochoker” also made by Weather! or not? the same gorgeous detail, just not sitting atop your head :D

latex, rubber, and leather, things i love but cannot pull off in real life. of course, that’s why i enjoy second life, because i can wear this stuff and actually look hot in it!

this squeaky masterpiece is from dilly dolls, and is entirely made of mesh! the corset, skirt, and petal top are all separate pieces, so if you buy more than one colour of the outfit, you can mix and match. i’m wearing pieces from the red set and the black set to demonstrate this.

poor blaine should have known better…

this lovely mesh dress is from BOTHER and is available in the “Wrath” section of the Festival Of Sin which just opened this weekend. (and good luck trying to get in to it :p its packed!)

this dress comes in a clean version and a bloody version and it comes with the knife. but we all know, i’m just in it for the blood so you’ll have to check the dress out at the event to see both versions!

this gorgeous red skin is part of a new line of skins coming from Adam n Eve skins called “Amaris”. all of the skins in the line are amazing beautiful fantasy colours, instead of your typical human tones. i am very much in love with this red one if you didn’t notice :p

this skin, as well as a blue, and a purple skin, are set to go on sale today, and more are coming next week!

wretched dollies has made my perfect valentine’s day dress.

this gorgeous black and red ruffled dress is perfect for a night on the town with a special someone.. or just to stand around and look pretty in a pretty sim.

something i love the most about the clothes i’ve gotten from wretched dollies is that they have an elegant gothic look to them, but they are not tacky or flashy about it like some gothic clothing stores.

i love the matching top hat.. i am a tiny top hat fiend…

this dress comes with a second skirt style, more of a dolly short skirt, but i felt this one was more romantic for valentines day. there are also a few different layer combinations you can work with (the lace undershirt is a secondary layer so you can go without it if you wish!) and the long skirt has a version with or without the flower on the hip.

ok so i suck at keeping up with a 365, so if you were excited about that, sorry! something i AM excited about, these new vamp teeth from moonshadow! this is something i have actually wanted for photos and stuff because its really hard to get a nice vampy mouth part when you’re using normal people teeth.

tada! moonshadow has now saved me time and effort!

these teeth are prim so they aren’t just painted over your lips to make you look like a vampire rabbit, there are two versions, one with an invisiprim to part your lips, and one with an alpha layer, so no matter what viewer you are on, these work, and i am rather smitten with them!

i have always loved the art of day of the dead, especially the decorated skull images that grace various items involving the holiday. so i was very excited to see these awesome earrings from [Aura]. these earrings are MESH and they are fantastic! since they are not rigged mesh you can wear them as easily as you would any other prim attachment. they come in an array of colours and i think they are simply gorgeous.

you can find these awesome earrings tomorrow at the knitting circle bake sale and then at the [Aura] store after the 29th!
